Unwind on the sheltered shores of this beach, where gentle calm waves wash up against soft warm sand. It is the only beach in the Southern English speaking Caribbean that has received a “Blue Flag” Award due to its purity. Here you can enjoy the peaceful serenity of a beach far removed from the tourist track. Paradise found! 

Due to its sheltered waters Las Cuevas beach is a great place to go for a swim, so jump right into the refreshing waters to cool off. After swimming, feel free to grab something to eat, most recommended is the crispy fish sandwich at Maracas Beach, its’ busier neighbour. The fish comes from the fishing depot located on the Western end of the beach where fresh fish is sold every day. Finger-licking! ☺
