Untouched lagoons and waterways with beautiful sceneries await you, paired with the somewhat bizarre mangrove roots that abound. View various wildlife with highlight of the roosting of the spectacular Scarlet Ibis at dusk. See hundreds of birds fly in unison to their roosting trees, a spectacular cloud of red against the evening sky – and the golden hues of the setting sun accompany the experience. Nature par excellence!
After this memorable experience its back to your hotel – or we can introduce you to another experience (optional, cost on own) – local cuisine! You should try one of our most popular local dishes –”doubles”! A visit on the lively “Avenue” or the Queens Park Savannah in Port of Spain takes care of that – delicious curried chickpeas in a stretchy flat bread with adventurous sauces – street-food par excellence!
